In Music Theory I and II, we take what you learned in Fundamentals and put it to use.  Students will use professional MIDI and audio software to complete a variety of challenging projects that call on their musical knowledge as well as reflect common engineering work.  We cover the most practical and applicable topics, including chords and chord progressions, musical form, score reading, intonation, how to tune instruments, transcription, and the application of musical nomenclature in the use of MIDI sequencers and Digital Audio Workstation tracking, editing, and mixing sessions.
